Welcome to the
REQUEST FOR INFORMATION application process.
A Request for Information (RFI) is a request for building records for a specific property. These requests are usually from realtors, homeowners or builders.
If available, the following records are provided in response to an RFI:
- Building permit
- Final inspection report
- Location survey
- Occupancy permit

The District does not guarantee the availability of information for all files.
Building records prior to 1990 might not be available.
Files will be sent electronically in 5-10 business days.
Cost: Non-refundable fee of $42.84 (includes GST)
TO SUBMIT A REQUEST:
You must be a homeowner or have written authorization from a homeowner to get access to records. If you are requesting records on behalf of the property owner, you will be required during the application to upload one of the following documents:
- A completed
Records Authorization Form
- A completed/signed Listing Contract, MLC, or Accepted Offer
Important Note: For cases where a homeowner is applying on behalf of themselves, a completed
Records Authorization Form must still be completed and uploaded for themselves during their application.
